#foodbarrelfriday continues . This year the Paddle In bannock cook off is starting to heat up. Contestants have been refining their bannock recipes so they can be the one to hoist the crown.

Once you get to your site are you a stay at camp type of person? Or do you like to explore the area around camp?
My face after checking out the window for the 59th time only to see the snow still hasn’t melted.
Sometimes you find the perfect campsite. Sometimes you camp right in the middle of a rarely used portage. Sometimes it doesn’t stop raining. Regardless all these times are fun and we can’t wait to get back to it.
